I am passionate about LGBTQIA+ issues, sex and sexuality, and diverse relationship styles and helping others explore these areas for themselves. I believe in creating a brave space with everyone I meet to foster self-exploration and growth. As an advocate for justice and equity in mental health care, I know how important it is to acknowledge and address culture, privilege, race, gender, size, ability, sexuality, and the intersections of your unique identities and experiences in this world. As a nonjudgmental guide, I'll work with you to build your self-compassion, resilience, and strengths as we tackle hard things together.
I work through a trauma-informed lens to provide individualized care to everyone I get to work with. My therapy style is person-centered and guided by each individual’s goals and needs. I draw from models such as DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Relational Therapy, and LGBTQ+ affirmative therapies.
My experiences as a polyamorous, pansexual, and plus-size person drive my therapeutic passions. Although therapy often involves working on difficult things, I believe therapy doesn’t always have to be serious. Laughter and play are tools for healing, and I enjoy bringing both into my sessions.
