Stephanie Staveland, LCSW is the owner/founder of Refuge Cove Counseling, LLC. She is passionate about working with mothers and fathers during the perinatal season of life. This is a transition like no other and often brings up a lot for a new parent. She also works with individuals through perinatal loss and infertility. She has a heart for this work as well as personal life experiences. She also loves working with parents later in their journey as they are navigating the ongoing transitions of parenthood and realizing the impacts their own childhood has had on the way they parent.
Rebekah Bailey, MSW has worked under the supervision of Stephanie Staveland since 2020 when she began her social work education. Rebekah has enjoyed working with clients across the lifespan from early childhood through late adulthood. She enjoys helping people identify their own areas of growth and explore ways of find more adaptive ways of being.
Rebekah recognizes the primary importance of the therapeutic alliance and the healing relationship. She creates a safe, compassionate environment where clients know they are not alone and learn to recognize and leverage their own strengths, challenge their unhelpful thoughts and practices, and accept their own humanity and limitations.
