Welcome to Refuge Counseling. My name is Rebecca, and I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their challenges in a safe, supportive, and understanding environment. I specialize in helping clients struggling with out-of-control sexual behavior (often referred to as pornography addiction), as well as those facing life transitions, career challenges, anxiety, and depression. Whether you're experiencing difficulty in managing specific behaviors or simply need support to cope with life's pressures, I’m here to walk with you toward healing and growth.
At Refuge Counseling, I believe that counseling should be a place of refuge—a sanctuary where you can feel safe to explore your challenges without fear of judgment. This means creating a confidential and supportive space where you can be vulnerable and work toward lasting change in a way that respects your values, beliefs, and life experiences.
My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion and faith. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I offer faith-based counseling that integrates gospel principles with evidence-based therapeutic techniques. I draw from ACT, solution-focused strategies, and mindfulness to help clients.
