I'm Reece Cumbo, a Supervisee in Social Work with 14 years of experience dedicated to supporting individuals and families through challenges like mental stress, life transitions, domestic abuse, family conflict, and gender identity concerns. My background in youth counseling spans diverse settings, including schools, homes, probation, and both in- and out-of-home placements. I’m committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where clients of all backgrounds, beliefs, and orientations feel affirmed and respected.
I hold a Master of Social Work from East Tennessee State University, and my therapeutic approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy to help foster meaningful connections and empower growth. I also integrate narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques into my work.
