I provide therapeutic care and support for children and young adults facing changes or challenges. In my work with this age-group over the past 11years, I have found that an incredible amount of development, exploration, and identify formation occurs during these stages of life. It can be difficult at times to separate out who we really are, from the problems and situations we may face. Through my strengths-based approach, I aim to provide a safe and encouraging space for each of my clients to work through their unique experiences, identify their individual strengths, find healing, explore their goals, and recognize their potential.
I work to EMPOWER my clients to grow towards their best selves. I ENCOURAGE development in social & emotional intelligence, helping them learn to recognize and understand their own feelings, and learn tools to more effectively express and regulate their emotions. I aim to walk along side each of my clients and offer the personalized SUPPORT they need.
I offer individual counseling for the child or young adult, but I also offer collaborative work with families, school systems, and other service providers in the community. I believe this systems approach, allows for more effective and lasting support for the young person's development, growth, and healing.
