About
Layers of grief, complicated family history, a genetic predisposition to mental illness, a traumatic experience, stressful changes -- or a combination of these things -- can be very difficult to manage or recover from by yourself. A seemingly unendurable situation or relationship can be overwhelming without support. If you've done all you know to do and you're still feeling stuck, I can help. I'd like to partner with you to find the clarity, wisdom, strength, comfort and supports you need to feel better about yourself and your relationships -- and to enjoy your life more.
I have training in EMDR for the resolution of trauma and am an IASIS Certified Provider of Micro Current Neurofeedback, which has been shown to bring about significant improvements in symptoms of anxiety, depression and mild brain injury; I am also trained in Gottman Method Level I couples therapy and SYMBIS marriage assessment;
Building a trusting and respectful relationship with my clients is the most important thing I can do. I want to collaborate with you on your goals and to provide a safe, nonjudgmental and supportive environment for exploration, problem solving, personal growth and acceptance.
