Rebekah’s work is grounded in person-centered principles while utilizing empirically-supported treatments, such as CBT, ACT and DBT. She has a particular interest in working with anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, and executive functioning challenges as well as interpersonal relationship difficulties and life transitions. Additionally, she is experienced in working with anger issues, emotion regulation, self-esteem and experiencing bullying. Rebekah has experience working with individuals and families across the lifespan, but she is especially skilled in working with kids, teens, and young adults.
Rebekah works with clients to identify and utilize their strengths to help them reach their goals. She believes that each individual takes a role in authoring their own life story. Within this life story are a collection of messages received from oneself, others, and society that impact perception and the ways in which an individual operates in the world.
If you've been struggling with anxiety, depression, executive functioning issues, anger, or difficulties in regulating your emotions, you can find help in therapy with Rebekah. Together you'll explore your specific problem-area, determine what is driving unwanted behaviors and experiences, and problem-solve ways to introduce small changes with a big impact.
