Difficulties in life can often result in unfulfilling/unhelpful circumstances or patterns of thoughts and behaviors. It is during these times, the times when you just feel "stuck," that gaining an understanding of the issue(s) at hand while enhancing life skills can increase your resilience. As a therapist, I work to empower my clients and facilitate conversations that help them gain a deeper understanding of their past, present or future concerns while exploring effective ways to foster lasting growth, healing and wellness.
Though I specialize in trauma, I enjoy working with an array of therapeutic issues. I lean towards a strengths-based, attachment, and systems approach. I believe significant change in one person can impact an entire system. I also believe a holistic, mindful and cognitive approach coupled with behavioral changes is effective for many people.
