Whether you are a Sandwich Generation caregiver balancing the needs of aging parents and children, or an older adult caregiver supporting a spouse or peer, the emotional weight can be immense. You may feel a relentless pressure to 'do it all,' leading to chronic burnout, guilt, and isolation. I provide a supportive space to help you navigate these complex roles. Together, we will work on setting healthy boundaries, managing caregiver stress, and developing practical self-care that fits your life. You don’t have to carry this load alone.
My approach is open and warm. I believe in letting you guide the process. Our goals focus on giving you the knowledge to understand the changes you or your loved one are experiencing, as well as the skills to manage the emotions that often come with those changes.
With specialized training in dementia care and aging, I offer practical support for the daily challenges of caregiving. I bring a steady hand, expertise, and- when appropriate- humor to our sessions. Together, we’ll manage the 'here and now,' honor the heavy emotions of life transitions, and navigate the complexities of this journey with confidence.
