I provide therapy for adults and adolescents, specializing in mood disorders, ADHD/executive functioning challenges, addiction, and trauma. This includes anxiety, OCD, depression, low mood, and low motivation, including functional “freeze” states where daily responsibilities are maintained but engagement is limited. I also treat ADHD and executive functioning challenges, including difficulties with focus, time management, organization, and follow-through. My work includes addiction and compulsive behaviors (substance use, screen use), as well as trauma; single-incident, complex or developmental, including adoption-related issues.
With 20 years of clinical experience, I have treated a diverse range of diagnoses both in inpatient and outpatient settings. My style is warm and non-judgmental, my approach is flexible, individually tailored, and informed by psychodynamic theories, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDRia and Somatic Experiencing.
I have a history of helping clients get past major “stuck points” and have been able to help clients who have had difficulty feeling helped in the past.
