My name is Rebekah Taylor and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My main area of interest and experience in counseling is with pre-teens and teenagers, ages 11-15. My background in counseling comes from the middle school setting as I have been counseling middle school students for the past 7 years. This is my favorite age to counsel although I really do love counseling children of all ages and adolescents.
During my time counseling pre-teens and teenagers, I have gained experience helping children cope with many of the issues that are frequently experienced during this developmental stage.
My ultimate goal during counseling is to provide the emotional support an individual needs to begin to feel better and to develop a strong foundation of coping skills that will allow them to move forward. My hope during counseling is to set children up with the tools that they will need to develop an emotionally healthy future and outlook on life.

Groups
Rooted & Resilient: A Middle School Process Group
Middle school can be overwhelming — socially, emotionally, and mentally. Our five-week, in person therapeutic support group offers students a safe space to build emotional resilience, improve peer connection, plan for organizational strengths and develop effective communication strategies. This group runs twice a year - once in Fall and once after the New Year for 5 consecutive Thursdays in a row from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
