With over 30 years of experience, I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, eating disorders and trauma. I use evidence-based approaches that help clients identify changes they would like to make to their actions or thought process. When addressing trauma, we review traumatic memories and reduce their emotional intensity, specifically EMDR and Trauma focused CBT. Together, we work at a pace that feels manageable, allowing healing to unfold thoughtfully and safely. Therapy is about understanding your story, strengthening resilience, and helping you move toward greater peace and stability.
Our first sessions will focus on understanding your concerns, your history, and what feels important to you right now. My role is to provide a safe, structured and compassionate space where you can speak openly without fear of judgement.
Clients from many walks of life tell me they feel respected and heard. Although I am interested in providing my clients evidenced based therapy, with proven methods of success, I like to be flexible in my approach, listening for clients understanding of the process and integration of the concepts.
