As a therapist for adults and teens, I teach clients how to cope and effectively manage symptoms of anxiety and stress. Therapy sessions provide an opportunity to explore concerns in a non-judgmental environment, and clients are encouraged to discover their own unique selves.
Principles derived from evidence-based treatment including, but not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma informed CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure therapy and mindfulness are integrated into my practice.
I use a collaborative approach, provide psychoeducation and support patients as they practice therapeutic strategies at home and in the community. Over time, you can expect to discover improvements in functioning and the ability to approach situations with a healthy, balanced mindset.
