Are you feeling overwhelmed, lost, or anxious? Are you sick of feeling the way you are feeling? Are you nervous to pursue therapy? I know it can be really scary to take that first step of reaching out but I hope you can give yourself credit for beginning the process. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental environment for you to feel safe and heard. Whether you have been in therapy before or this is your first time, my goal is to meet you where you’re at. I have several years of experience treating mood disorders like depression and bipolar I/II, anxiety disorders and eating disorders.
My approach to therapy is first and foremost person-centered. I strive to meet each individual where they are. I use a combination of mindfulness, CBT, strengths-based therapy and motivational interviewing strategies. I have experience working with kids, adolescents, young and older adults in both OP and Intensive OP, and Partial Hospitalization settings.
Therapy is hard work and it can be really scary at times. It takes time, patience and effort. My goal is to help guide individuals through the process using empathy, patience and understanding. Sometimes you have to try different therapists before finding your fit so I am happy to offer a free consultation!
