It's been said that our biography can affect our biology, and I believe that too. I help people access and express their emotions while increasing awareness of what's happening in their bodies. By strengthening self-acceptance and learning to make real connections with others, our full, true selves can emerge. I have training in mindfulness and somatic techniques such as EMDR (certified), IFS/Ego state, as well as Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The arts and nature can be integrated into session into the work if desired. In historic Milford near abundant natural resources, the Little Miami River and Trail.

I specialize in trauma, grief and loss, parenting, relationships/attachment challenges, life changes (even "Life-Quakes" as author Bruce Feiler calls them) or stages. I also work with many women with ADHD, those experiencing PMDD, peri/menopause, empty-nesting and support through the midlife experience.

Sometimes we find our old ways of coping just don't work anymore, and we need help getting unstuck. A trained, outside perspective can be helpful in bringing blind spots to light through a lens that is honest, compassionate, confidential, and nonjudgmental.
