About
Hello! I’m Rebecca Shea, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Are you looking for a therapist who will actively listen to your concerns, provide helpful tools and supportive feedback, and be open-minded? You have come to the right place. My goal is to provide you with a safe space, help you feel like your best self, and recognize your strengths and abilities by getting to the root of your current stressors. I understand attending therapy can be scary and overwhelming, however, you don’t have to go through this alone. I am passionate about working with my clients from a strengths-based and client-centered perspective.
I have a history of working with adults struggling with mood disorders, PTSD, psychosis, relationship issues, significant life transitions, and substance abuse in the PHP/IOP setting. I have a history of working with children and teenagers in several different settings, including schools. I am committed to racial justice and am a LGBTQ+ affirming therapist.
I was born and raised in CT and graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with my BSW in 2017 and MSW in 2018. In my free time, I can often be found spending time with friends and family, camping, and reading. I also danced for 22 years and taught at the studio I grew up in. Please call, e-mail, or schedule a phone consult on our website today! I
