About
Do you feel, think, and sense things at a deeper, sometimes overwhelming level? You may be a highly sensitive person (HSP). My passion is working with HSPs to soothe indecision, insecurity, and boundary issues, so they can tap into their creativity, flexibility, and perceptiveness. Other areas of expertise include social and performance anxiety, high achievers/gifted adults, adult children of emotionally immature parents, and parents of highly sensitive children. If you have suffered a loss (breakup, loved one or pet, job, dream), I can help you make sense of things and move forward with confidence and hope.
My style is warm, sensitive, and practical. I use principles from DBT and other evidence-based therapies, plus leave you with things to think about, try, or read outside of session. Previously I worked in a nationally-recognized DBT mental health treatment center. I completed my clinical internship at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills.
Reach out if you're curious about what new perspective and understanding might feel like. I'm dedicated to serving people in the arts, sciences, academia and tech who wish to feel better, function better, and improve work/life balance.
