I come from a varied background, working my way from bookseller to overseas as an English as a Second Language teacher to my current position as a counselor. I strive to integrate my diverse experiences into my counseling philosophy to enrich our sessions beyond talk therapy. In addition, I focus on somatic therapy, exploring the mind and body as parts of our whole. Our first session will focus on assessing your strengths, needs, and counseling goals. We will work on building rapport and building our therapeutic relationship.
My strengths lie in my flexibility to explore what will work best for each individual client, my non-judgmental and caring approach, and my varied and experienced background that extends my therapeutic approach beyond mere talk therapy.
