I work with adults and I specialize in anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and/or interpersonal relationships. My approach to therapy is holistic, which allows me to provide a safe space in which my clients can explore and accept who they are. To facilitate this process of self-discovery, I have a non-directive and supportive manner that encourages openness and trust in the therapeutic relationship. I honor all cultural and spiritual backgrounds, and I am sensitive to LGBT individuals.
My training is person-centered, so I focus on the present, while examining clients' past experiences that may continue to impact them. I integrate expressive arts as appropriate to help clients explore the parts of themselves that may not be accessible through traditional talk therapy.
