As a wife and mother, I bring my life experiences into my counseling in the form of empathy and understanding. My work with clients includes identifying stressors that are interfering with their ability to thrive in their unique environments. I also help my clients uncover strengths that can be used to cultivate coping skills and new perspectives. Sometimes that means exploring relationships, honing communication skills, or processing grief to make meaning after loss. I am committed to meeting my clients where they are when they walk through the door and then working from there.
As an LAC, I have experience working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, grief and loss, chronic illness and sexual issues. Prior to receiving my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I was a corporate attorney practicing law for thirteen years. While I enjoyed practicing law, my passion for counseling is unmatched.
Please feel free to reach out to me by phone or email (email@example.com) to discuss your counseling needs and determine if working together may be helpful to you.
