As an Asian female therapist, I deeply understand the challenges and opportunities that come with a bi-cultural upbringing. Every individual possesses the innate desire to grow as well as the capacity to heal from traumas and painful life events. I am here to guide you through difficult life transitions and improve your relationships. I will help you approach life with fresh perspectives and more effective strategies. I have more than a decade of therapy experience with clients of all ages struggling with issues such as depression and anxiety, trauma, addiction, grief and loss, and unhealthy relationships.
I welcome individuals from all walks of life, but have expertise with culture specific issues such as inter-generational clashes, conflicts between Western and minority values, and acculturation difficulties. I am bilingual and bicultural and can provide psychotherapy in English and Mandarin Chinese.
It can feel like a daunting task to sort out insurance coverage options and search for the right therapist. I would love to help you out. I respond to email inquiries as quickly as I am able, usually within 12 hours. I can give you a free phone or video consultation within 24 hours. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
