You may know yourself well. You may have even done therapy before, read the books, done the work, and still something isn't right. Maybe it's an anxiety that won't quiet, a depression that won't lift, a trauma that never quite left the body, or a pattern that keeps repeating no matter how hard you try. Whatever you're experiencing, it makes sense. Not as a platitude, but because pain always has a reason, even when that reason isn't yet known. My deepest hope for everyone I work with is that you find not just relief, but a genuine trust in yourself and something that feels like self love.
Knowing why we do something and actually changing it are two very different things. What shifts things is working at a deeper level, where old reactions live. Using EMDR and IFS, proven treatments for PTSD, we work with the part of you still living in the past. The goal is to move through the world with more freedom, where old patterns loosen their grip.
If you have ever been told, or told yourself that you are too intense or too hard to understand, you are not. Whatever you bring will be met with care, curiosity, gentleness and honesty.
