Does your child struggle to communicate feelings, misunderstand social cues, or manage intense emotions? Is your child impulsive, has trouble completing tasks, or suffers from sensory overload? These challenges can leave them feeling isolated, dampen their self-esteem, and strain their family and peer systems. If you are looking for a compassionate and skilled therapist to navigate the journey of being or feeling different, I am here to help. I specialize in individuals who are navigating the unique challenges associated with developmental differences, such as ADHD and Autism. I run a virtual support group for parents, as well.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic. I largely draw from Play Therapy, which allows children to express their emotions, work through trauma, and develop social skills naturally and engagingly. I pull techniques from CBT to help build coping strategies and DBT to enhance mindfulness and emotion regulation.
I am a music lover, reader, and proud member of the Atlanta Jewish community. Before pursuing my Masters in Social Work at UGA, I worked as a 4th grade TA and a behavior therapist for children with severe autism.
