I am able to treat a multitude of complex issues, yet I have extended knowledge and training in the following areas: *Couples therapy- I am Level 1 certified in Gottman Couples Therapy. *Teens that are dealing with academic & social pressures, substance abuse, binge drinking, anxiety/depression *Women and men diagnosed with chronic autoimmune illnesses *Postpartum Depression- I work with women & couples, during this very emotional and fragile time where support is needed. PPD can manifest suddenly within the first year of having your new baby, and can be very frightening for the new mother & family.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Client Centered Therapy. I have also completed the Level 1 training through the Gottman Couples Institute. Gottman is an evidenced based approach to Couples Therapy. I adapt sessions to meet your needs and goals, making the therapeutic setting unique for you.
I am certified in the assessment and treatment of perinatal mood disorders by Postpartum Support International. My wide variety of expertise helps to create a well rounded, safe and nurturing environment.
