I specialize in working with adults struggling with chronic illness, health care workers experiencing burnout, and individuals and couples going through stressful life transitions.
My lens is through a biological, psychological, and social lens where the individual is viewed in the larger contexts and their connection. I have extensive experience working with individuals who struggle with physical illness and its impact on mental health, as well as over seven years of experience supporting healthcare providers with their own mental health.
I pull from many different therapy approaches: narrative therapy, CBT, biopsychosocial model, attachment theory and family systems. I use these models to assist you in thinking about rewriting the narrative in your life that is causing distress.
We all deserve a safe space to understand and take care of our health. Many times a new physical diagnosis is given and treated but a big part of your health is forgotten, your mental health. I would like to assist you in providing this space for healing.
