I understand that stressors, losses and transitions can easily become overwhelming, and I can help you address the anxiety and negativity brought on during challenging times. My training in trauma, grief & loss, cultural diversity and spirituality provides me with tools to help you explore what may be compounding or affecting your difficulties. I have particular interest in helping women address unique challenges complicated by societal expectations, multiple roles, and life cycle changes.
I aim to build a warm and compassionate therapeutic relationship so we can explore not only what is going wrong but also strengths and what is going right for you. To do so, I pull from a variety of modalities including IFS, Brainspotting and trauma-informed CBT, as well as incorporate techniques from positive psychology and wellness-based strategies.
Together, we can work on you taking small but steady steps towards therapeutic change. I bring my training, enthusiasm, authenticity, warmth & sense of humor to "meet you where you are".
