Building genuine therapeutic relationships is the foundation of my work. I believe that when people have a sense of emotional safety there is a natural opening for healing, growth, discovery, and transformation. My goal is to provide an environment where people will feel safe enough to express their vulnerabilities, allow themselves to connect to their emotions, and tap into their innate inner strengths to be successful and meet their goals. My approach to therapy is psychodynamic which gives individuals the freedom to self-reflect and help them identify patterns that contribute to unique challenges they face.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), I incorporate the use of unique and creative techniques from Trauma Informed CBT and other modalities to help people navigate complex emotional experiences. I am also certified to provide Clinical Supervision for those seeking clinical licensure.
When people feel supported and empowered, I believe they build the confidence they need to make healthy choices and recognize the potential or future success. I understand that seeking help can feel overwhelming, I respect a person’s courageous choice to engage in therapy and to work through their difficulties in hopes for a better tomorrow.
