About
I partner with clients to improve relationship satisfaction; to understand and change patterns; to reclaim a sense of well-being. Stress and anxiety are often at play. Many clients notice that childhood wounds continue to impact their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I listen with empathy and compassion and work collaboratively - to help you find growth, new insight and enhanced life satisfaction.
I specialize in helping folks with inner turmoil, family conflict, relationship challenges, depression, stress, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, and esteem issues. We work at your pace, mindfully. I am committed to helping you find relief - - and meaning - - in the uniqueness of your life and experiences.
In practice 17 years, I have previously worked at the UCD Employee Assistance Program, Yolo Family Service Agency and in Private Practice. I have experience in research, academia, service, and parenting - all of which inform my work. I would be happy to talk with you by phone to see if we might be a good fit to work together.
