We are living in an era of anxiety unlike any other time in the twenty-five+ years I have been in practice. During my career in Ann Arbor and surrounding areas, I often work with people who are anxious and depressed about their relationships, jobs, finances, or their overall lives. I am a skilled and experienced therapist who has helped people achieve agency over their lives and feel joy again. My style is warm and interactive. My specialty is young adults who are ready to prioritize themselves and work hard. I have seen so many people who feel hopeless initially, invest in therapy & create lives that they didn’t think possible.
Two key parts of a successful therapeutic relationship are feeling safe and having a good rapport with your therapist. I love to help clients to feel empowered; and to use their power to make changes they didn’t know they had the right or the ability to decide. When someone starts to take agency over their life, they gain confidence.
I am fortunate to love my work! Over the course of my career, I have so many stories of individuals who came to therapy suffering and feeling hopeless, who eventually evolve and flourish by prioritizing themselves!
