As a former responder — a responder's wife and a responder's mom — I GET you. I specialize in working with First Responders, Military, Medical Professionals, and fellow Therapists navigating PTSD, OCD, anxiety, depression, marital issues, work stress, and burnout. I see individuals 16+ and couples — by telehealth across Tennessee, or in person on our working farm for nature-based and walk-and-talk therapy. Life is hard, and sometimes overwhelming. My Master's degree is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and my bachelor's is in Religion with a minor in Criminal Justice — from Liberty University. My background also includes the school of hard knocks: working as a First Responder, in crisis settings, inpatient/residential, foster care, and outpatient private practice.
My approach is collaborative, person-centered, non-judgmental, and integrative — I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities including EMDR, ERP, IFS, CPT, and somatic work to build a custom plan for your goals. Faith-informed care is available for clients who want it; all faiths and beliefs are respected and welcomed.
