I believe in creating a safe environment where individuals are able to learn, grow, and change. I view my clients not only through the framework of their individual concerns but also in the context of greater social influences.

I work with both individuals and couples on a multitude of issues. I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to treat PTSD and trained in EMDR and IFS. For couples therapy I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I am also well versed in working with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, as well as other life stressors.

I offer both in person and virtual appointments. I believe in creating a space where people are comfortable and feel safe to work through their identified concerns. Ultimately my job is to help you get to a place where you have the necessary skills and no longer need to attend therapy.

I use a combination of EMDR and IFS (internal family systems), or parts work, to help process past trauma. We spend time establishing a therapeutic relationship before we jump into trauma work, since this is very vulnerable work that requires trust. I use EFT (emotionally focused therapy) for couples work. I am also mindful of intersectionality and how that affects a client's lived experiences.
