Many of us come from difficult families - which is our first experience about the world, often setting the standard for what is "normal" to us. If you come from a family with a history of unhealthy patterns, it is likely that you are struggling as you enter adulthood. Common patterns include absent parents, unstable relationships, emotional/physical abuse, or addiction.
I specialize in assisting young people navigate this crazy thing we call life. Common struggles I help with include family of origin issues, anxiety, depression, self-worth issues, & adjusting to difficult life transitions such as graduating high school or college and venturing out on your own for the first time. Ages include teens 13-19 & adults.
I believe the greatest outcomes in therapy are a direct result of the relationship between the therapist & the client. I strive to provide a space where you feel safe & heard.
