I operate from a "person centered" perspective using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. This perspective allows you to determine the direction of therapy and enables you to be an active participant in your own recovery. We will work together in a safe, supportive environment to find solutions, strategies and skills to help you achieve your goals.
Sometimes we feel isolated and alone with our feelings, and reaching out can be frightening. However, once we reach out and connect with another, there is a feeling of overwhelming relief. You don't have to be alone with your feelings. The unburdening of pain and intense emotions can be freeing and allow for growth and the opportunity to be fully present.
