I use somatic trauma approaches, including somatic experiencing therapy, EMDR, The Hakomi method, parts-work, and family constellations. I am also certified in Emotion-focused couples therapy. I am the founder and Director of Brooklyn Somatic Therapy, and I supervise and train a team of somatic therapists.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens in the context of a genuine, trusting relationship. I support clients navigating the impacts of trauma—personal or collective—as well as anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the ongoing journey of seeking meaning and purpose in life.

Healing from Betrayal Trauma
I am launching a new group for survivors of infidelity to support their healing from the trauma of betrayal. Starting on September 29th from 3-4:30ET and running for 14 weeks, we do deep trauma processing using EMDR and other somatic interventions in a very structured approach. I have been offering this group for the last 3 years, and am amazed by the healing I've witnessed.

Psychedelic Integration Group
In healing traditions involving psychedelics, it is understood that the work begun during psychedelic journeys continues well beyond their formal end. New insights and perspectives become more deeply rooted with further reflection and elaboration in a safe space. Our new Psychedelic Integration Groups are designed for individuals who've had guided or personal psychedelic experiences in the (relatively) recent past and are interested in having their integration process supported in community, with experienced facilitation by Dr. Ben Kagedan. Each group will run for 8 weeks and cover themes such as cultivating insight, making meaningful change, making sense of spiritual/existential experiences, and more.
