About
As a licensed clinical psychologist, my practice is devoted to helping adults suffering from stress, anxiety and depression, often associated with trauma, life transitions, loss, problems in relationships or careers, and/or medical conditions. I also have advanced training in health psychology and offer treatment for insomnia and chronic pain. I feel privileged to witness the change that occurs as clients overcome difficulties, achieve their goals, and lead more satisfying lives. My approach is collaborative, active, supportive and real. I use evidence-based therapy that is individually tailored to be most effective for you.
I bring to our sessions over 20 years of experience from counseling centers, hospitals and medical centers, including NYPH-Weill Cornell, Yale, and the VA. Our time together may include examining relationships between our thoughts, emotions, behaviors and physiology, as well as reviewing/practicing strategies to help you feel better immediately.
Please contact me for a free telephone consultation to address any questions you have and learn more about my practice. I would love to have the opportunity to speak with you to discuss your needs and see how I may be of help to you. Currently, I am offering sessions in person at my office, via HIPAA-compliant video and/or telephone.
