I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in my home office in Plymouth. I was Initially trained in the Bay Area and I've been practicing in the Twin Cities since 2000, a sole practitioner since 2002. At this time I specialize in working with individuals working through grief, complex trauma, & Anxiety. I work with many artists from different disciplines. I earned a certification from UC Berkley in Art Therapy. I also specialize in working with highly sensitive individuals. Although it is not my current focus, I have much experience with couples work, children and anger management.
I have much experience and training in somatic and mindfulness. Many people I work with are in life transitions and need guidance to shift hardship into growth, wisdom and change. My work is to help connect you with your own unique resources and wisdom, to bring reflection and choice to guide in shifting and updating outdated patterns and life stories.
Since 1996 I've worked with complex trauma and family systems work. I've completed years long training each in Hakomi, Somatic Transformation, Psychomotor and Polyvagal studies. I also specialize in guiding sensitive individuals to the intelligence inherent in sensitivity. I have much experience in psychodynamic, psychoanalytical, dream and jungian work.

Groups
Couples Intensive, Weekend Mornings, Fri Eves
These four hour workshops are limited to 2 couples and led by Rebecca and her husband Terry. During the first half we work through a communication handout designed to guide you in consciously managing conflict while staying connected to one another and curious about underlying triggers for you and your partner. The second half each couple works individually with one facilitator and their partner in private to practice an experiential active listening exercise about something that needs to be communicated and heard. These workshops happen about once a month or when two couples register. These Workshops tend to go deep.
