About
We are living in a time of change which may create feelings of anxiety, isolation, sadness, or being overwhelmed or "not yourself". Through the course of our lives we have difficult moments that may stay with us. Where you are now, where you came from, how you are treated, all influence thoughts, feelings, and functioning. I work with women around perinatal mental health challenges, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, low self-esteem, and life stage adjustment. As an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist, I support clients through the healing process by meeting you where you are and engaging your strengths.
There are times when you may need support to walk through hard moments or times when you need skills to work through challenges. We all have innate skills to handle many difficulties that life brings our way. My supportive, interactive, practice utilizes an individualized blended approach of EMDR, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Interpersonal therapies.
In a supportive environment we will identify unhelpful thoughts, and triggers and create new ways of thinking to improve emotions, perceptions, or challenges that may be impeding you from living an essentially better life. We'll have some fun too. Let's get started. Contact me via EMAIL or visit The Counseling Center for Women webpage for an appointment.
