I am passionate about helping individuals, couples and families heal their lives and relationships. My approach is compassionate, supportive and hopeful. It is my belief that you are not "flawed" or lacking, but rather are constrained by burdens and beliefs that are the result of painful experiences. Together we remove those constraints so that you can experience freedom, wholeness and joy. When working with couples, my goal is to help remove constraints to intimacy and to help you and your partner create a relationship that is honest and fulfilling. Often personal healing must occur in order for this to happen.
My preferred tool for change is the Internal Family Systems model, as it is consistent with my beliefs about human suffering and healing, and provides a means to changing our thoughts, feelings, behavior and overall sense of wellbeing, bringing more Self-leadership and confidence into our lives and relationships.
I welcome people of all faiths, and integrate spirituality into my work, as it feels comfortable to clients. It is my belief that connection to God, Self and others provides the greatest hope for an integrated and healthy life.
