I believe that the best therapy is radically empathetic, that all people hold the innate capacity for healing, and that courage and strength are discovered when people are allowed the space to express and release emotional pain. I use evidence based approaches and work collaboratively with my clients to identify goals for therapy that target the issues most challenging to them.. The approaches I use are dependent on the needs of the individual, family, or couple and can include DBT, CBT, somatic, psychodynamic, attachment, and system theories.
As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I offer a relational and systemic approach. I have extensive training in trauma and am trained in AIR Network/Anchored Relational model and EMDR. Specialized areas of interest and expertise include depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, grief and loss, neurodiversity, attachment, and transitional issues.
