Life presents us with challenges; everyone experiences a degree of distress or worry along the way. Psychotherapy provides a safe, supportive partnership in which you can begin to understand your experiences, identify areas you'd like to change, build on strengths, and ultimately make choices to create a greater sense of well-being. Many individuals I work with are intelligent, accomplished people who feel they could benefit from a deeper exploration of the questions they are encountering with respect to career, relationships or personal identity. Additionally, I have an interest in working on issues specific to artists and creative professionals.
My style is warm and collaborative. My approach is non-judgmental, interactive and personalized to address each individual's needs. I integrate exploratory, psychodynamic techniques with cognitive behavioral work so that insights can be best translated into long-lasting, satisfying change. Specialties: anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, addictions, self-esteem, relationship difficulties.
While life's challenges are not always easy to navigate, together we can create a path forward to help you build a satisfying and meaningful life. I am happy to provide a phone consultation to discuss your concerns and to answer any questions you might have.
