I work with adults who are a part of the queer and neurodivergent communities. Whether you are newly diagnosed with autism or ADHD, have a strong suspicion that you fall into those categories, or are trying to finally understand an old diagnosis, you are in the right place. My clients are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and many are working towards body neutrality or acceptance. Some therapy days may look like making to do lists or deciding how to respond in a social situation. Other days include talking about your experience in school or childhood. I follow your lead, and we talk about what is most helpful for you.
My approach to therapy is rooted in building relationships with my clients that allows them to be their authentic self in a nonjudgemental setting. I want clients to know that they are not alone and to that end, I bring elements of humor, my own experiences, and genuine collaboration to our sessions. I am LGBTQ affirming and use an anti-fatphobia lens.
