Everyone has innate strengths and talents that he or she can use (and has used in the past, whether or not he or she is aware of it) to manage and resolve problems. In hearing clients' stories, I am always listening for these natural strengths in order to explore how they can be used to cope with current stressors.
I have experience treating children, adolescents, and adults for mood disorders, anxiety, stress related to life changes, career and workplace issues, grief, behavioral problems, relationship problems, and issues related to sexuality and gender. I welcome clients from all cultural / ethnic / spiritual backgrounds and am fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
