If so, I can help. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in treating children and adolescents from age 5-18. I provide parent coaching and family/behavior interventions for families struggling with oppositional behaviors, and use a mix of CBT and play therapy to help children struggling with adjustment issues.
I specialize in treating trauma and PTSD in children and adolescents, using TFCBT, the gold standard for child/adolescent trauma treatment. I provide EMDR (the gold standard for treating PTSD in adults) to older adolescent clients, when appropriate, and adult clients who are seeking services. I utilize play therapy and sandtray to supplement trauma work.
