I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor with over 9 years of experience. My experience includes working with individuals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I use an eclectic approach, including Person Centered, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, Trauma Informed, and Multicultural. I focus on building rapport by being genuine and creating a non-judgmental atmosphere. Rachel has also worked extensively with high-risk children and adolescents and their families, providing life skills and stability for the family unit. She uses a holistic approach and enjoys working with clients who are facing anxiety, depression, identity crises, issues of faith, and more. Rachel is a graduate of Regent University with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and holds a certificate in ARC (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency) Trauma Treatment for Children and Adolescents.
