Arlette has dedicated her life to helping others and provides clients with an open space to be heard. Arlette has spent over 12 years in educational and non-profit settings, and now 8 years in private practice. Other notable experiences in her repertoire include leading grief groups, domestic violence groups, substance abuse treatment, and psychoeducation groups for adult probation. Arlette has advocated for her profession in state/local associations, and as President, wrote the bylaws for her local chapter. Arlette strives to expand her knowledge in the field, utilizing only evidence-based practices in psychotherapy.

Heidi has provided counseling services to children, adolescents, couples, individuals and families since 2005. As a Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor, she brings an element of playfulness to all sessions and works from a trauma-informed, strengths based perspective.

I enjoy assisting people that understand that it takes work to change behaviors. People that are struggling with life issues, depression, anxiety, marital struggles are all those I enjoy teaching tools to allow them to utilize to change. I am trained in EMDR and certified in Level 2 in Restoration Therapy and Marital Affair Recovery and Licensed to Supervise Associates in Counseling.

I obtained my Master's Degree in Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008, and have dedicated over thirty years to pastoral and counseling roles. With a warm and friendly Christian perspective, I am here to assist you in navigating your emotions and challenging thought patterns. My counseling style is laid back, and empathetic. I use gentle guidance, and practical instruction to help you redirect problematic thinking patterns. I believe in building a collaborative partnership with my clients.

I work with anxiety, trauma, depression, relationships, adjustment difficulties and much more. I can offer feedback that will help you move through your difficulties and recover from what has happened to you or around you. I offer support by helping you be intentional about being your genuine and ideal self. I enjoy working with individuals who are 18+ years, families and marriages.

Accepting new clients. My extensive experience has afforded me a viewpoint that brings hope to others. My passion and motivation have always been to work alongside individuals at the most vulnerable time of their lives. It can be difficult to manage environmental and social pressures that compromise our decision making, leaving us with feelings of no way out.
