Life can throw many curves and sometimes you don't know how to respond. Sometimes communication can be a struggle, and you need help knowing how to do it effectively. There are times when what you normally do is no longer working and figuring it out can be a struggle. We provide therapy that helps lead to healthy behaviors to improve relationships, express emotions better, think more positively, and do better at school and/or work.

Welcome! I am so glad you found me. Fostering a safe place to share and express yourself is very important to me. I am a highly trained therapist who works with children and adolescents ages 3-18 as well as young adults and parents. I received my undergraduate degree from Dallas Baptist University and my Masters in Counseling from the University of North Texas. I have also worked with foster and adoptive children and their families and I am trauma informed as well as having experience in education. I create an open environment with positive regard for my clients without judgment of the circumstances they find themselves in.

SEX is an essential part of life affecting the mind, body and spirit. With CAYA, one will receive psychotherapy from a clinically trained sex therapist whom is able to treat a myriad of sexual health issues. At CAYA, the patient will be treated in a sex positive environment via teletherapy or face to face effectuating the individual, couple and/or group with solidifying a lasting change. CAYA's brand of therapy is delivered to all cultures, races and genders in an effort to improve sex positively while impacting one's mental health, physical health and/or spiritual issues. With over 30 years of experience, this counseling is conducted with expertise. A safe and nurturing environment makes it easy to open up. As we work together, solutions for your specific circumstance will become clear. Skills such as healthy communication; relaxation; and positive visualization are practiced right in the session.
