I believe that therapy is a time for people to explore and better themselves leading to a more fulfilled life. I work from a person-centered approach meeting the client where they are at, but also utilize strategies from all different practices. I believe that the client is the expert in their own life and needs someone to show empathy, support, and guidance. I approach each session as a unique situation and involves the client in every step.

Depression, anxiety, grief/loss, ADHD, and relationship problems are just some of the many reasons people seek out therapy. You may want to learn ways to feel better and reduce uncomfortable emotions, or you may want to just talk through difficult times. I strive to create a safe place and work collaboratively towards your goals. I focus on creating goals, solutions, process one's past and life circumstances, and teach skills and strategies that will reduce uncomfortable and unpleasant emotions. I provide hypnotherapy and biofeedback for pain management and anxiety/panic as added tools to reduce physcial and emotional discomfort.

My ideal client is someone who struggles with anxiety and putting themselves last on their list. There will likely be relationship issues and lower self-worth. They love deeply and try so hard not to be a burden. Unfortunately, that's how they see themselves, as a burden. The truth is though, when we really look at it, they are carrying all the burdens. The best relationships with us and others comes through clarity on what you need, what you have to give, and boundaries. Interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and boundaries can bring calm to your life, healing to your relationships and personal joy.

Our experienced team of therapists has been helping clients achieve their best self, better relationships, and a more balanced life since 2012. The more common struggles we help clients overcome are anxiety and depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship problems, and parenting challenges. If you have been wrestling with these or other issues, we are here to help. We work with older kids (8+), adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Most of our therapists are EMDR trained (EMDRIA approved) and also use other effective approaches including CBT, DBT, and systemic approaches.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and have worked in the field for 20 years. I work with individual adults and adolescents, I have also participated in the LGBT post-graduate certification program.
