Having this belief in mind I have learned to help my client's focus on how they want their lives to be different in the future, rather than on what went wrong in the past. I focus on empowering clients to find their own solutions to life's difficulties. My clinical interventions are guided by Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive and Reality Therapy. My area of specialty is addiction, mood disorder, and relationship concerns. My interventions are guided by compassion, integrity, persistence, excellence, and respect.

Relationships are hard work. You desire to be the individual that you are, but also try to figure out how to overcome the changes that being in a relationship can bring. Not all relationships are created equal. I want to help you cultivate a healthy relationship (whatever that may look like for you) as well as encourage a healthy relationship with yourself. I desire to provide you with a non-judgmental and empathetic environment where you feel safe to discuss your difficulties. Therapy can assist in making hope and healing an attainable goal. I work with individuals and families coping with depression, self esteem, anxiety, behavior problems, relationship issues, adoption, grief, domestic violence, and multicultural issues to help them them in their healing journey, teaching them to refocus on the things that bring true joy. I believe that when clients learn to refocus their thoughts and make key behavioral changes, they are often able to find peace and wellness. A Christ centered approach is offered and discussions of faith are welcome while not mandatory. Client's views are respected and honored.

Sarah has experience in a variety of settings with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. She utilizes a person-centered, strengths-based approach and believes in creating a safe and supportive environment for clients of all ages.
