I am a mother to 3 adult children, grandmother to the sweetest girl, and the wife of a very gifted husband. As a therapist, I've been challenged in treating people to a standard or healed. Ted has worked in a residential treatment setting as a Detox Supervisor and is the Executive Director of an outpatient treatment agency. Ted believes in a holistic approach to treating people with substance use and mental health issues and meets people where they are with empathy, respect, understanding, and the skills needed to help them overcome challenges and live healthy, productive lives. Ted completed his Master of Arts in Counseling and Clinical Mental Health at Adams State University.

Dr. Evans is a published author, title: Why You Do That (amazon.com) and was an adjunct professor in social work for five years. Dr. Evans has concentrated in multiple areas including family systems, personalities, individual/couples/family therapy, group therapy, difficult or abusive relationships, parent / child conflict, stress management, and substance abuse. Dr. Evans trained other therapists in Dallas for years. Dr. Evans emphasizes self-awareness and family awareness. Therapy with Dr. Evans is very different from therapy with other therapists.
