Life can be tough, overwhelming, and even at times feel unbearable, whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, or having difficulties adjusting to a traumatic life event. You may not have the support you need or the tools to help you navigate through this difficult time. That is where I would like to step in, to walk with you in your journey of healing. I hold a Bachelor degree in psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Guidance, both from Texas A&M San Antonio. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.

We experience life more fully when we are conscious of our personal issues and of the ways we are creating our experiences. I find it very exciting to work with people in the exploration of self. I work with a spirit of curiosity and openheartedness in helping people uncover the fullness of self.

Loneliness, social anxiety, and just dealing with a constantly changing world can sometimes make anyone feel out of control. Hi, my name is Tiffaney, and I am an experienced licensed professional counselor supervisor (LPC-S). I am enthusiastic about being authentic and real with my clients to create an encouraging environment for exploration and growth. I believe in the power of choice, and my goal as a counselor is to provide support and guidance to empower you in your decisions. My focus is on progress not perfection and becoming ok with being perfectly imperfect.

I provide telemental health (virtual) & in-person therapy sessions for pre-teens, adolescents, adults & families experiencing emotional disturbance &/or difficulty w/life transitions related to family/school/peer conflict, behavioral/relational dysfunction, gender identity, occupational, relational & interpersonal stressors, trauma, grief & other situational circumstances that may be disrupting one's overall mental health well-being. Additionally, I provide access to community, local & national resources & assist w/advocacy services through coordinating & networking w/other professionals, schools, support groups, courts & agencies.

I believe in the power of therapy to help people escape the grip of the trauma: I work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, abusive relationships, rape and sexual violence, terrorism, and political violence. I understand that making a commitment to yourself through psychological therapy is a significant and important step for many people.

Accepting new clients. With over 13 years of experience, I have a passion for helping others discover their best selves. Fears, anxieties, and difficult circumstances can leave us feeling stuck and hold us back from living the life we truly want. I join with my clients to explore barriers and overcome them to create a sense of peace and wholeness. Therapy is the most beneficial when we engage in meaningful discussion and exploration of your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and life history. My goal with clients is to help them arrive at a place where they feel comfortable, secure, and empowered to be themselves.
